Bode was born in Gig Harbor, WA, on December 13, 2004. His mom was a golden retriever and his father a standard poodle. On Valentine’s Day 2005 he arrived at the Page family home with a red heart sticker on his forehead. He was a very active puppy who would dig and chew and get into mischief every day. It took much patience, exercise, and consistent training to help Bode learn to “use his noodle,” and he grew into the finest of dogs. When he was about 6 years old he became a therapy dog at Grandma’s retirement center, and he loves to visit the residents and staff there. Bode seems to have an extra-special ability to bring joy to people everywhere he goes.
“Bode, I love hearing that you are a therapy dog. Our goldendoodle, Bailey, is a sweet 8 month puppy. We are hoping to make her a therapy dog as well. Such a sweet, tender heart. We love your story and hope for more to come!”

“Bode, you're great! You remind me a lot of my dog, Junior.”
– Dave, Edmonds, Washington
“This delightful book Use your Noodle, Doodle! has just so much charm and fun. It is a story to which all can relate, even if there is no "grandma" at home. The story is written with joy and Jenny's illustrations of you, Bode, are fabulous. It is so hard to get expressions in illustrations of animals, but Bode has just the right looks for each occasion! These wondrous illustrations show your emotions with such detail and feeling.
For all looking for a wonderful children's story... This is it! Sheri Page's tale makes me want to get to know Bode more! I look forward to more adventures!!!
Bode........ Tell us more of your loves and life! I can't wait!!”
